Efficient Data Communication

The BRC CORE^TM Tools have been used to develop an efficient means of communication in which only the changes between transmissions are sent.  Originally designed for secure communications in A2AD environments, the Semiotic Digital Encoder (SDE) analyzes structured messages to find the most efficient binary sequence for maintaining synchronized data between remote locations. The efficiency of SDE was proven under a NAVAIR SBIR program.  The chart below compares the relative average message size for a number of standard communication protocols.
